What's Worn News
We Built a Search Bar. It's a Really Good Search Bar.

Let's be honest about what finding things on the internet used to look like: you'd land on a site, squint at the menu, click three things that weren't it, and finally give up and ask a search engine to find the page for you - on the very site you were already standing on.
We've all been there. And here at What's Worn, we decided enough was enough.
Introducing Actual, Working Search
There's now a magnifying glass in the top corner of every page. Click it (or better yet, press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K, which will make you feel like you're operating heavy machinery) and a search bar appears. Type literally anything footy-and-footwear related:
- Players - "Nick Daicos", "Ebony Marinoff", or just "daic" if you're typing mid-sneeze. It'll find him anyway.
- Boots - type "predator" and meet every Predator wearer in the league.
- Teams, brands and articles - they're in there too. We checked.
Results appear as you type, grouped so you're not playing whack-a-mole with 1,400 names, and you can drive the whole thing from the keyboard like a hacker in a movie. Arrow keys, Enter, done. You never even have to acknowledge your mouse exists.
But Does It Know What I Mean?
Mostly, yes. Misspell a name slightly, forget half of it, or type a boot model instead of a player - it'll still get you somewhere useful. If it truly has no idea what you're after, it says so politely instead of showing you 47 results for something completely unrelated, which is more than we can say for some much larger websites.
And if you open it without typing anything? It shows you featured players, popular boots, and our latest articles - which is either a thoughtful design choice or a subtle accusation that you opened a search bar with nothing to search for. We prefer "thoughtful design choice."
Why We Did This
Our entire reason for existing is answering one question: what boots do the pros actually wear? A question that good deserves an answer faster than you can say "holding the ball."
So next time someone at the pub insists their hero wears last season's model, you can settle it in about four seconds. The search bar knows. The search bar always knows.
Give it a spin - press Ctrl+K right now. Go on. We'll wait.
